Africa is home to some of the most ethnic people in the world. And tribalist massive Tuber and Drupe are no exception, combining only the blackest of beats with an almost racist sense of fair play. The duo released only one official album, though whether this was one too few or several too many has been a subject of intense debate amongst Djembe and Mbira players alike. The Gabonian Dub-ballard 'Let the talking drum do the talking' is perhaps the standout track on the record, and is, ironically, the only one not to actually feature a talking drum.
